West Bengal Industries Minister Assures Action on MSME Issues in Asansol–Durgapur
A productive and constructive meeting was held between Shri Arup Kumar Roy, General Secretary, Central Sambhag, Laghu Udyog Bharati, West Bengal, and Moumita Biswas Mishra, Hon’ble Minister of State for Industries, Commerce & Enterprises and Minister of State for Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal.
During the meeting, Shri Arup Kumar Roy highlighted several key issues affecting industries and MSMEs in the Asansol and Durgapur industrial region. The discussion focused on addressing challenges faced by local entrepreneurs, improving the industrial ecosystem, and creating a more supportive environment for the growth of small and medium enterprises.
The Hon’ble Minister gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised and assured that the Government would examine the issues seriously and take appropriate steps to resolve the industry-related challenges in the Asansol–Durgapur region.
The meeting reflects Laghu Udyog Bharati’s continued commitment to representing the interests of MSMEs and working in close coordination with the Government to strengthen West Bengal’s industrial development and promote a conducive business environment.
