Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Goa represented the MSME sector at the official Deregulation Phase-II Task Force Meeting held on 6th August 2026 at the Secretariat, Porvorim. The meeting was organized jointly by the Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India, and Goa Investment Promotion & Facilitation Board (Goa-IPB), bringing together representatives of leading industrial and trade associations across the state to deliberate on reforms aimed at enhancing the business ecosystem.

Representing LUB Goa, State President Mrs. Pallavi Salgaocar and State Treasurer Mr. Vibhor Keny actively participated in the discussions, presenting the concerns, experiences, and recommendations of the MSME sector. The interaction served as an important platform for highlighting the practical challenges faced by entrepreneurs and advocating for policy measures that support sustainable industrial growth.

A key focus of the meeting was Ease of Doing Business, with detailed deliberations on simplifying regulatory procedures, reducing compliance burdens, and streamlining approvals for industries. LUB Goa submitted constructive and actionable suggestions to improve the implementation of reforms and ensure that deregulation initiatives translate into tangible benefits for MSMEs. The participants also reviewed the progress of ongoing initiatives under Deregulation Phase-II and discussed strategies to create a more transparent, efficient, and entrepreneur-friendly business environment.

Reaffirming its commitment to the MSME community, Laghu Udyog Bharati Goa emphasized that it will continue to work closely with policymakers and government authorities to ensure that the voice of local entrepreneurs is effectively represented.
