Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Purvottar participated in OCTAVATE 2026 – North East’s Premier Tech Conclave, organised by the NEST Cluster of IIT Guwahati. The three-day technology conclave is being held from 10–12 August 2026 at IIT Guwahati, bringing together innovators, technology developers, industry representatives and entrepreneurs on a common platform.
The event features around 50 exhibition stalls showcasing innovative technologies, products and solutions across diverse sectors. The exhibition provides an important platform for industries and MSMEs to explore emerging technologies, identify potential business opportunities and build meaningful industry–technology linkages.

On the invitation of IIT Guwahati NEST, the Prant President and Prant General Secretary of LUB Purvottar also participated in the inaugural ceremony.
LUB’s participation in OCTAVATE 2026 reflects its continued commitment to strengthening Industry–Academia collaboration and facilitating greater access for MSMEs to technology, innovation, research and emerging business opportunities. Such platforms help bridge the gap between academic institutions and industry while enabling MSMEs to discover new technologies and strengthen their competitiveness.
Through its continued engagement with institutions such as IIT Guwahati, Laghu Udyog Bharati remains committed to creating stronger technology and innovation ecosystems for MSMEs, particularly across the North Eastern region.
