Laghu Udyog Bharati, Women Cell Belagavi Celebrates 33rd Sthapana Diwas
Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), Women Cell Belagavi celebrated its 33rd Sthapana Diwas with great enthusiasm and spirit. On this occasion, an exhibition showcasing handicrafts and food products was organized, providing a platform for women entrepreneurs to display their creativity and business capabilities.
Smt. Suman Pawar, PSI (Cyber Crime), graced the event as the Chief Guest. In her address, she highlighted the role of the police department in assisting senior citizens, measures taken to handle cyber frauds, especially bank-related frauds, and the importance of awareness in today’s digital environment.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Kiran, Director of Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India (Australia). He spoke about various government schemes, export opportunities, and initiatives like Pachhan Cards, encouraging entrepreneurs to explore international markets and benefit from government support systems.
Smt. Dr. Priya Puranik, Women Vice President, Laghu Udyog Bharati Karnataka, addressed the gathering and spoke about the organization’s role in empowering women entrepreneurs, providing guidance, networking opportunities, and supporting business growth at the grassroots level.
A total of 24 women entrepreneurs participated in the exhibition, showcasing a variety of handicrafts and food items. Additionally, 4 entrepreneurs enrolled as new members of Laghu Udyog Bharati, strengthening the organization further.
Smt. Lata presented the secretarial report, and Smt. Nalini proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making the event a success.
