LUB Golaghat Ekai Discusses Infrastructure Issues at Golaghat Industrial Estate
On 18 August 2026, LUB Golaghat Ekai held a fruitful interaction with ER Dhrubajyoti Bora, Assistant Engineer, AIIDC, Guwahati, and ER Nabajit Barman, Junior Engineer, AIIDC, Guwahati, during their visit to Golaghat Industrial Estate. The visit was undertaken in response to a letter submitted by LUB regarding the dilapidated condition of roads and drainage infrastructure in the estate.
During the visit, the AIIDC officials conducted a detailed survey of the industrial estate, covering roads, drainage systems, street lighting and the front gate. Discussions were also held on the availability of additional land for allotment to new industrial units and issues related to electricity supply within the estate. The officials assured LUB Golaghat Ekai of their complete cooperation and support in addressing these concerns and facilitating further industrial development.
The meeting was also attended by Sri Ajoy Kanoi, President, LUB Golaghat Ekai.
