He also stressed the importance of proper documentation and safeguarding against payment-related risks while entering international markets.
Encouraging entrepreneurs to adopt a structured approach towards exports, Shri Singh advised MSMEs to make effective use of government institutions and Indian diplomatic missions abroad to identify opportunities and address challenges in international trade. He also shared practical insights from his extensive experience in export promotion and global business development.
Shri Vivek Rathor appreciated Shri Opinder Singh for sharing his practical knowledge and experience with LUB members. He noted that such interactive knowledge sessions can help MSMEs identify new avenues for growth, strengthen their competitiveness and explore opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
Following the business session, candidates contesting the upcoming Gymkhana Club Elections from the Progressive Group and Achievers Group interacted directly with LUB members and presented their respective vision, priorities and plans for the club. Members actively participated in the open question-and-answer session and raised relevant issues concerning the future development, administration and functioning of the Gymkhana Club.
Shri Vivek Rathor thanked the contestants from both groups for accepting LUB Jalandhar’s invitation and sharing their views directly with the members.
Concluding the meeting, Shri Anirudh Dhir, President, LUB Jalandhar, appealed to LUB members who are also members of the Jalandhar Gymkhana Club to exercise their voting rights wisely and elect candidates committed to the club’s development, transparency, efficient administration and improved member services.
