As part of advancing the MoU between Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) North Bengal and Inspiria Knowledge Campus, a two-day workshop on Drone and Robotics was organised in association with Vigyan Bharati North Bengal on 18–19 August 2026 at Inspiria Knowledge Campus, Himachal Vihar, Siliguri. The workshop aimed to promote awareness and understanding of emerging technologies such as drones and robotics among students and participants, while encouraging innovation, scientific thinking and technology-driven entrepreneurship. The programme was graced by Shri Lakshmi Narayan Bhala, eminent educationist, poet, writer, thinker and social worker, as the Chief Guest. The event was attended by CA Aditya Mitruka, President, LUB North Bengal; Shri Pravin Agarwal, Former National Secretary, LUB; Shri Piyush Kejriwal, General Secretary, LUB North Bengal; and Shri Bharat Changia, Treasurer, LUB West Bengal. The initiative reflects LUB’s continued efforts to strengthen collaborations with educational institutions and promote technology adoption, skill development and innovation among the next generation of entrepreneurs and professionals.
