Laghu Udyog Bharati, Palakkad District, in association with the MSME Development & Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), Thrissur under the Government of India, will organize a two-day Vendor Development Programme on August 4 and 5, 2026, at Hotel Fort Palace, Palakkad.
The programme is designed for Micro and Small Industry owners and aims to connect entrepreneurs directly with leading Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), including BEML, ISRO, Cochin Shipyard, Indian Railways, IOCL, and more than 30 other PSUs. Participants will have the opportunity to hold one-to-one meetings with procurement officials, gain insights into government procurement procedures, understand vendor registration processes, and learn about tender opportunities.
The event will also provide detailed information on the Government of India’s policy reserving 25% of annual PSU procurement for MSMEs, along with special procurement benefits available to SC/ST and women entrepreneurs. The programme is expected to help MSMEs strengthen their market access and expand business opportunities through direct engagement with major government buyers.
