On 15th & 16th May 2026, Laghu Udyog Bharati successfully organized an impactful Exclusive Session on Family Business Succession & Longevity at the LUB Head Office, Delhi. The two-day programme brought together business families, industry leaders, and academic experts for meaningful discussions on sustaining and strengthening family enterprises across generations.
The programme featured highly insightful expert sessions by Prof. Toshio Goto from Japan University of Economics and Dr. Hitesh Shukla from Saurashtra University. Their sessions focused on key aspects of family business longevity, value systems, succession planning, sustainability, leadership transition, and long-term continuity strategies.
The event was graced by prominent LUB leaders including Om Prakash Gupta, All India General Secretary; Anju Bajaj, All India Secretary; Aarti Sehgal, General Secretary of LUB Delhi; and Jayanti Goela, National Coordinator – Industry Academia & Net Zero.
More than a conventional knowledge-sharing programme, the session evolved into an engaging platform for open dialogue, interactive discussions, and practical learning. Participating business families actively took part in question-answer sessions and exchanged experiences related to real-life succession challenges, governance structures, and leadership continuity.
A major highlight of the programme was the dedicated one-to-one interaction sessions, where participating families personally discussed their business concerns, succession planning issues, and future vision directly with the experts. The programme successfully created a valuable ecosystem for learning, collaboration, and strengthening the foundation of family businesses for future generations.
