Goa MSMEs Explore Global Trade Opportunities at International Seminar on Dubai Business Gateway
Panaji (Goa), 23 July 2026: World Trade Center (WTC) Goa, in association with Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB) Goa, Global Chamber Goa, and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), successfully organized an International Seminar on “Dubai – The Business Gateway to Global Trade” at Terminal Banquets, Caculo Mall, Panaji.
The seminar was aimed at creating awareness among MSMEs, entrepreneurs, exporters, and business professionals about emerging global trade opportunities and the strategic advantages of expanding business operations through Dubai. The programme highlighted Dubai’s growing role as a global business hub and showcased how the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) serves as an important gateway for Indian enterprises seeking access to international markets.
The inaugural session featured insightful addresses by Mr. Cyril D’Souza, Regional Director – Trade Promotion, World Trade Center Goa; Ms. Pallavi Salgaocar, State President, Laghu Udyog Bharati Goa; Mr. Gautam Kharangate, Director & CEO, Rashtra TV – Goa’s First Hindi National Channel; and Mr. Arman Bankley, Trustee, Vibrant Goa Foundation. The speakers emphasized the importance of export preparedness, global partnerships, and enhancing the international competitiveness of Indian MSMEs.
The technical session was conducted by Mr. Abhijitsinh Jadeja, Chief Representative – India Office, Asia Region, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), and Mr. Siddharth Shah, Founder & CEO, DMCC. They provided participants with comprehensive insights into establishing businesses in Dubai, trade facilitation services offered by DMCC, and the wide range of opportunities available for Indian MSMEs to expand their presence in global markets.
The seminar also featured a presentation by MARC Global, the Knowledge Partner, followed by the launch of the Knowledge Report on the India–UAE Business Environment, offering valuable information on bilateral trade opportunities and market trends.
The programme concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session followed by a networking Hi-Tea, enabling entrepreneurs, industry experts, and business leaders to exchange ideas, build meaningful connections, and explore new avenues for international business collaboration.
