A delegation of Laghu Udyog Bharati, Okhla Ekai, led by Delhi Prant President Shri Diwan Chand Gupta Ji and General Secretary Smt. Aarti Sehgal Ji, called on Hon’ble Industries Minister of Delhi, Shri Manjinder Singh Sirsa Ji, along with senior representatives of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIDC), to discuss the long-pending civic infrastructure issues affecting the Okhla Industrial Area.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted the persistent sewage and water-related problems that have been adversely impacting industrial operations and creating hardships for entrepreneurs in the area. They emphasized the urgent need for comprehensive and sustainable solutions to improve the industrial environment and ensure uninterrupted business activities.
The Hon’ble Minister gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised by the delegation and assured that the issues would be taken up on priority. Officials from DSIDC also assured the delegation that the necessary corrective measures would be initiated at the earliest to resolve the long-standing problems.
Laghu Udyog Bharati appreciated the positive response from the Hon’ble Minister and the concerned officials. The organization expressed confidence that the government’s proactive approach and constructive dialogue with industry stakeholders would lead to timely solutions, strengthen the industrial infrastructure of Okhla, and create a more conducive environment for MSMEs and entrepreneurs.
