Kolkata, West Bengal: In a significant step towards strengthening the MSME ecosystem, Laghu Udyog Bharati Madhya Bango General Secretary Arup Roy met with the Hon’ble Minister of State for the Industries Department, Smt. Moumita Biswas Mitra, to discuss the key challenges being faced by micro, small and medium enterprises in the state.
During the meeting, Arup Roy highlighted several issues affecting MSMEs and requested the Minister to grant a formal appointment for a detailed interaction with a delegation of Laghu Udyog Bharati Madhya Bango. The Minister responded positively and assured that a suitable date for the meeting would be finalized and communicated at the earliest.
The discussion was cordial, constructive and highly encouraging. The Minister expressed her commitment to supporting the MSME sector and assured all possible cooperation in addressing the concerns raised by the organization.
Laghu Udyog Bharati Madhya Bango acknowledged the valuable efforts of its Vice President, Dr. S. R. Banerjee, whose initiative and coordination played a pivotal role in facilitating this important meeting. The organization expressed confidence that the proposed interaction with the Industries Department will pave the way for meaningful dialogue and stronger policy support for MSMEs in West Bengal.
