Laghu Udyog Bharati Madhya Bengal Inaugurates Raja Shasanka Kaushal Vikash Kendra in Murshidabad
Laghu Udyog Bharati, Madhya Bengal, achieved a significant milestone on 24 July 2026 with the inauguration of its Skill Development Centre, Raja Shasanka Kaushal Vikash Kendra, at Berhampore in Murshidabad district. The centre was inaugurated by revered Sangathan Mantri Shri Prakash Chandra Ji, marking a new beginning towards empowering youth and aspiring entrepreneurs through skill-based education.
The centre has commenced its first batch of skill development programmes with 10 students enrolled in the Bakery Training Course, where they will receive hands-on training in the preparation of biscuits, cookies, and bread products. Alongside this, 5 students have enrolled in the Computer Training Course, which includes practical learning of Tally and GST software to enhance their employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
The establishment of Raja Shasanka Kaushal Vikash Kendra reflects Laghu Udyog Bharati’s continued commitment to creating self-reliant individuals by providing quality skill development, promoting entrepreneurship, and generating sustainable livelihood opportunities for youth and women.
Through this initiative, Laghu Udyog Bharati aims to contribute towards the vision of Skill India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and Viksit Bharat by strengthening skill development, encouraging self-employment, and supporting the growth of the MSME sector at the grassroots level. The centre will serve as a platform to nurture talent, build capabilities, and empower communities through practical and industry-oriented training.
