Thiru. S. Sheik Abdul Rahaman, I.A.S., Villupuram District Collector, visited Mgee Industries, owned by Thiru. Murali Kannan Ji, Former President of Laghu Udyog Bharathi, Villupuram District.

During the visit, discussions were held regarding the proposal for establishing a new SIDCO Industrial Estate in the Poothurai and Pattanur Industrial Areas of Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District.

It was informed that 2–3 proposals are currently under consideration for establishing the new SIDCO Industrial Estate, and it is expected that the new industrial estate will come up within this year.

I also explained to the District Collector about the various industries and companies operating in the Poothurai and Pattanur Industrial Areas, the different types of industries functioning in the region, and the wide range of products being manufactured here.

I highlighted that establishing a new SIDCO Industrial Estate in our area would be highly beneficial to existing industries as well as entrepreneurs planning to start new businesses.

It would also help in attracting new investments, generating more employment opportunities, improving infrastructure facilities, and significantly contributing to the overall industrial growth and development of Poothurai and Pattanur.

This is a very positive and encouraging development for our industrial community. We sincerely hope that the proposal will progress successfully and bring further industrial growth and development to our region.
