A delegation of Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), North Bengal Unit, led by Shri Aditya Mitruka, held a highly productive meeting with Shri Deepak Barman, Hon’ble MSME Minister, Government of West Bengal, at Uttar Kanya to discuss key initiatives aimed at accelerating the growth of the MSME sector in North Bengal.
During the meeting, the delegation presented several important proposals, including the establishment of an MSME Facilitation Centre at Uttar Kanya, implementation of a true Single Window Clearance System, granting freehold ownership of land in industrial parks, development of new industrial parks under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, promotion of One District One Product (ODOP) initiatives, and streamlining the Udyam Registration process for MSMEs.
The Hon’ble Minister gave a patient hearing to the delegation and expressed a positive outlook towards the suggestions, assuring that the proposals would be examined for implementation. The interaction reflected the government’s commitment to strengthening the MSME ecosystem and promoting industrial growth in North Bengal.
The meeting marks a significant step towards fostering a more business-friendly environment and enhancing opportunities for entrepreneurs and small industries across the region.
