FoSTaC Advanced Training Program Successfully Conducted by Laghu Udyog Bharati Goa
Laghu Udyog Bharati Goa, in association with G100 Food Innovations, successfully conducted a full-day FoSTaC Advanced Training Program for Food Manufacturers on 11 April 2026 at Gera’s Imperium Star, Patto Plaza, Panaji, Goa.
The program focused on creating awareness about the importance of mandatory FoSTaC certification for food handlers. Participants were provided with practical knowledge on food safety practices, including hygiene, sanitation, and maintaining quality standards in food production.
The training session was conducted by Ms Dorothy Pereira, a certified FoSTaC trainer, who also distributed certificates to all participating food entrepreneurs. Additionally, Ms Shradha, Food Safety Officer from the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration, Bambolim, delivered an insightful session highlighting the importance of food safety compliance and best practices for food handlers.
The paid hands-on training program saw active participation from 12 attendees, making it a successful initiative in empowering food entrepreneurs with essential knowledge to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality food practices.
The program was effectively coordinated by the Laghu Udyog Bharati Goa team, with valuable support from the EC member and the administrative team.
