Transfer of Technology (ToT) Conference 2026 Successfully Organized by Laghu Udyog Bharati in Collaboration with DST-Technology Enabling Centre

Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), in collaboration with the DST–Technology Enabling Centre (TEC), Panjab University, Chandigarh, successfully organized the Transfer of Technology (ToT) Conference 2026 on 4 July 2026 at the LUB Head Office, New Delhi. The conference served as a dynamic platform to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and promote the transfer of innovative indigenous technologies to the MSME sector.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from scientists, academicians, industry leaders, and MSME entrepreneurs. Around 45 industry representatives attended the conference in person at the LUB Head Office, while approximately 35 participants joined virtually, ensuring wider participation from across the country.

The inaugural session was graced by Sh. Om Prakash Gupta Ji, All India General Secretary, Laghu Udyog Bharati; Sh. Amit Goyal Ji, National Coordinator – Technology Transfer; Smt. Jayanti Goela Ji, National Coordinator – Industry Academia; Prof. Manu Sharma, Coordinator, DST-Technology Enabling Centre, Panjab University; and Prof. Deepak Chitkara, Coordinator, DST-Technology Enabling Centre, BITS Pilani.

A key highlight of the conference was the presentation of 20 industry-ready technologies spanning diverse sectors such as clean energy, water treatment, agriculture, Industry 4.0, waste management, and advanced materials. These technologies opened new avenues for commercialization, innovation, and strategic partnerships between research institutions and industry.

The conference reaffirmed Laghu Udyog Bharati’s commitment to bridging the gap between research and industry by facilitating technology adoption and encouraging collaborative innovation. Through such initiatives, the organization continues to empower MSMEs with cutting-edge indigenous technologies, contributing to the vision of a stronger, self-reliant, and technologically advanced India.
